Join Us for the 20th Annual Prayer Breakfast Fundraiser with CLA-LA

St. John's Presbyterian Church is proud to host Christian Legal Aid of Los Angeles (CLA-LA) for its 20th Annual Prayer Breakfast Fundraiser on Saturday, November 7, 2026.

For 20 years, CLA-LA has shared the love of Jesus Christ by offering free legal help and hope to people in need across Los Angeles County. Volunteer attorneys meet with neighbors facing homelessness, unemployment and family breakdown, and help them understand their rights so they can resolve their legal problems.

This year's keynote speaker is the Honorable Francisco Firmat (Ret.). Judge Firmat came to the United States as a refugee from Cuba and served 27 years on the Orange County Superior Court bench. He speaks often on prayer, and he will share how the legal community and the Church can work together to help close the justice gap.

Morning schedule

• 9:30 AM: Coffee and conversation

• 10:00 AM: Breakfast is served

• 10:30 AM: Program and keynote begin
