CHILDREN'S CHOIR

The new children's music program

The first choir the Scripture Singers will be lead by Bill and will be during the Sunday School time.

The goal is to introduce the children to all kinds of Christian music. The children will sing the same three songs for a month. The songs will relate to the Sunday School curriculum as much as possible.

The 3 songs will consist of 1 praise song, 1 scripture song and 1 traditional children's song (i.e. `This Little Light of Mine'). These songs will be picked by the CMMG with the help of Bill.

The second choir, a performance  choir will be a voluntary choir that will meet only to prepare for the two performances, Christmas and Easter. This choir will meet 5-6 weeks prior to the performance to practice. This choir will do specialized music, i.e. for this Christmas the children will perform traditional Cameroonian music and be lead by the ladies from CWF. Each time there will be a different volunteer leader and a different type of music.

Christmas choir. They will start practicing November 11^t1'. They will perform (and be the only children performing) at the Christmas concert, Sunday before Christmas and the 5pm Christmas Eve service. The rehearsals will last 30 minutes. Kindergarten thru high school will be invited to join.
