Welcome Visitors!  We invite you to come to the Visitor's Cart after the worship service today where you can learn more about St. John’s and receive a coffee mug as our gift to you.

 

Today after church!

Boy Scout Troop 50 annual fundraiser Popcorn Sale on the patio.

New Members Class  today and the 19th!  Lunch will be served!

Deacon’s Homeless Program – a table on the patio to purchase coupons.

Soaking Prayer – this afternoon at 1:30 in the Youth Room.

 

TreeHouse Program

Starts up again, on Wednesday October  1^st through the  29^Th.  6:00 to 7:30pm. This includes dinner!

 

Time and Space for God 

We will gather next Saturday, October 18th, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am for our morning retreat in the Sanctuary.  Please join us for a time of communal silence and prayer.

 

Congregational Meeting Notice

immediately after church, Sunday October  26^th., in the sanctuary, for the election of new officers.

 

 

The 2nd annual Taste of St. Johns

Healing Hearts: Grief and Loss Support

All who are burdened by loss and/or grief are welcome to join us for support and care during our Sunday morning meetings from 9-10am in the Living Room (behind the stage).  We will be meeting from Sunday October 5th through Sunday November 23.  For more information please contact Lisa Craig, Mirja Bishop or SangMi Kishi.

 

Join the Mom’s Group

meets every Wednesday at 9:00 am in the Westminster Room.   Child care provided.  Fellowship, triumphs & discussions.

for the month of October, a copy of the directory will be in the Narthex for you to check: make changes, add your name and address or any other change that may be needed.

 

Want to vote in November?

Need a Voter Registration Form? If you've moved, changed your name, or will be 18 years old by November 4th, you'll need to fill out a voter registration form and make sure it is postmarked by October 20th. Please contact Emily Morishima 310-254-5765 or mori47@gmail.com. She'll be happy to bring a form to church for you and help you fill it out.

We are still missing quite a few of our St. John’s family!  If you missed the photo days in June and have not e-mailed Sandi a digital picture, please look for Julia Brode after church over the next two Sundays (October 5^th and 12^th).  She will have her camera and can take informal pictures out on the patio.  Questions can be directed to Debbie Boyd 310-397-0254.
