Clippers

The St. John’s Clippers is a group of mostly retirees, fifties to seventies and up.  We meet once early in the year to plan activities for the rest of the year.  We make tentative plans for one activity a month.  Our activities are varied but we meet mostly for the fellowship.  We are open to both singles and married couples.  Contact the Church Office  for further information.

Voyagers

The St. John’s Voyagers are made up of Baby Boomers and those who like to hang with the Boomers. We are a mix of singles and married, with and without kids.  We meet throughout the year for fun and fellowship.  Our events are a great way to get to know people at St. John’s.  Contact the Church Office to get on the mailing list; or check in at the Visitor Cart on the patio any Sunday.

Prime Time Friends

How about dinner on Saturday night or a movie on Sunday afternoon??  Maybe football's your interest or a play or even a concert. Are you alone?  Come join others from your St. John's family who are over the age of 50 more or less  share events that we can share together.  Contact the Church Office  for further information.

St. John's Mom's Group

The Mom's Group is a friendly, fun, and caring community of women all seeking support as we navigate our way through the joys and challenges of mothering.  Honest, open, sharing and discussion in a safe environment is encouraged as we explore a variety of topics related to mothering and develop meaningful friendships.  We meet together for fellowship, prayer support and discussion once a week, during the school year, on Wednesday mornings from 9:00 am-10:30 am in the church library.  During the summer we enjoy fellowship at different homes or locations.  Capable and nurturing childcare is provided.  We currently have between 15 and 20 active members that come on a weekly basis.  We welcome newcomers at anytime. Please stop by for a visit!!

We also organize special activities that we enjoy with each other and our families.  These include Monthly Mom’s Night Out, Mom’s Craft Day and Family Play dates.  See the Church calendar for details, or call the church office for information.

St. John's Men's Group

The Men's Group provides opportunities for men of the church and community to gather together in purposeful fellowship based in Christ, service and outreach; serving as an example to each other and to the community; supporting each other and the community of St. John's.  Based on the premise that men like to do stuff, it is oriented around activities, including going to a ball game, bowling, a hike or bike ride, helping out with Habitat for Humanity or it might be helping somebody in need in the community.  It is a casual group of men to get together, have some fun and provide an informal setting where they can grow as disciples in a truly authentic way.  Men of all ages are welcome.  Watch the church calendar for activities or call contact the church office for more information.
